(Aka really cold for me haha)⁣ ⁣ But it made me think. Climates don’t just refer to the natural environment around us. They also affect every area of our personal lives too. You might be in a frigid winter season in some area of your life while it seems like everyone around you is living their best life in a summery paradise. ⁣ ⁣ I remember earlier this year after we lost our daughter feeling like I was on a cold, icy, island all alone. And at the same time my friends were getting pregnant without struggle, thriving in their pregnancies, and giving birth to children that they got to actually take home from the hospital. They were living in springtime where beauty and life was blooming all around them. I was living in what felt like a frigid hell where it felt like life was nowhere to be seen.⁣ ⁣ In whatever season we’re in, let’s not compare it to those around us. If we’re in the winter, let’s not punish those in their summer moments and rather look at it as an opportunity to share in their excitement and let it spark hope for a better future for us. And if we’re in our spring season where things are starting to flow, let’s not fail to remember that at one point we too were in that fall season where things were starting to look chilly, and rather have compassion on those who are struggling. ⁣ ⁣ In whatever season you’re currently in, don’t compare it to the person next to you.
