For my debut Pinterest story, I visited @owlbureau bookstore in LA’s Highland Park neighborhood – a beautiful shop that’s brimming with rare and vintage books. Collecting and reading publications like these provides me with so many ideas for projects, and the books themselves are such exquisite pieces of design. My number one tip to curating a library is to fill your book library with diverse sources of inspiration; covering art, design, food, fashion, photography, travel, and many more creative fields. Inspiration across all disciplines is what rounds out your creative practice. Whenever I finish a title, I put a custom bookplate inside the cover before passing it on to a new owner. I love discovering who has read a book before me, so adding my own sticker helps continue this tradition.
