For ALL those people up in arms over my last post, or saying, “but he was armed!” Or “the police had to protect themselves!! They HAD to shoot.”
No. THEY DIDNT.
If you can watch this and then still come up with a reason why police are shooting and killing people here, then I don’t know what to say.
Because this happens ALL the time in the U.K., and they figured it out, didn’t shoot or kill him, kept themselves safe and verbally deescalate and contained him.

THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE.

Don’t buy the lie that killing or shooting is the ONLY way to handle someone. It is definitely NOT.

Just because someone is having a mental health crisis, has committed a crime, or is going to be arrested, does NOT give the police a fucking death warrant.
I don’t understand why this is so hard for some people to understand?!
