A sweet, simple treat with a traditional Japanese twist.
Coffee Baum Mochi Toast (1-2 Servings)
MUJI Coffee Baumkuchen
Square of mochi
Sprinkle of kinako powder
Almond slices
Black or regular honey
1. Cut the Coffee Baumkuchen in half horizontally and then again in half vertically.
2. Cut the mochi into thin slices.
3. Place the thinly sliced mochi over the Baumkuchen, and bake in 750w toaster oven for 7 minutes.
4. Place in bowl to serve, and top with kinako powder, almond slices, and drizzle of honey.
