Speaking of art – on this day, exactly 80 years ago, one of Sweden's great architects, Gunnar Asplund, passed away. Asplund designed e.g. the Stockholm Public Library and co-designed Skogskyrkogården, where he also is buried. In 1994 Skogskyrkogården was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If ever in Stockholm, make sure to check it out!⁠⠀
