As part of protests calling for the resignation of Thailand's prime minister, pro-democracy activists filled Bangkok's Kaset intersection and waved cellphones with lights.
To try to stop the growing number of demonstrations, Thai authorities have threatened to censor news coverage, raided a publishing house and attempted to block a messaging app used by demonstrators to communicate and plan protests.
