I’ll tell the whole story on another post, but for now I’ll say it was amazing experience to see all of the people in the neighborhood respond to beacon of COLUR that I put up.... one lovley lady wept and said “ this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen , why isn’t everyone doing this? ” it touched me because I realized that across our America this has happened everywhere and it effected nearly everyone in such a deep way, all of these stores and businesses boarded up are just a heavy reminder to the communities that suffered the brunt of others suffering.
