I jest but truly, the subtext behind the government’s latest mindfuck of a campaign and those odious three R’s (what IS it with the Tories and 3xR slogans that don’t actually make sense) is clear enough. That the arts and creative fields are wayward non-linear pipe dreams. And in bot-like fashion we’re expected to quash our desires and hopes, and divert our attention towards coding instead.
