An elementary school outside of Atlanta has voted to rename South Clayton Elementary School to Michelle Obama STEM Elementary School. "I just felt like there aren't many places named after women," a board member said. "We are trying to push forward in our society, because we have been left behind for so long." Clayton County, which has ties to the former first lady through her great-great-great grandmother, is now waiting for the former first lady to approve the name change. ⁠
