"Believe it or not, I was a painfully shy and very uncomfortable in my own skin for half of my life. I think discovering art and design as my passion changed my life because I found ways to express myself. By college when I went to design school at Art Center College of Design, I became exhausted of caring so much about what others thought - I spent too much energy constantly comparing myself to others - and that's when something shifted in me."
