We played four times for 200 people per concert at the #FestivalDerNationen - These concerts happened because of the heartblood, energy and countless conversations the festival team invested under the most difficult circumstances. We are still in a state of emergency and it would be wrong and ignorant to assume that the concerts that happen these days mean that we are gradually moving back to normality. The more I am grateful that I could work with the young musicians of the festival orchestra. Brass instruments were still not allowed, but the string players spent a week together rehearsing and making music, the first time since the outbreak of Covid-19. These young musicians faced me with such curiosity, openess and a determination to take risks and push their own boundaries on stage and it just showed me once again how important it is, to not take away the perspectives and visions for the future of young people in times of crisis. ©️Bernd Feil」10月1日 20時04分
