Extreme heat, thunderstorms, dry air, and parched land erupted fires across the country. So far, the fires have scorched 6.6 million arches, damaged 7500 homes, and have killed and injured 37 people. This past September, the air quality in the US was the worst in the world. Portland experienced hazardous air quality, threatening every citizen in the area. For sensitive groups, unhealthy air quality can cause serious medical complications, including death from strokes, heart disease, and lung disease. We’re asking for a small donation to help CalEPA.
