Meet blacksmiths Elizabeth Belz and Anne Bujold, who teamed up earlier this year to compete in The Austin Forging Competition. Prior to taking classes at Penland School of Craft 15 years ago, neither were aware that blacksmithing was still a burgeoning field. But Elizabeth and Anne want you to know that if you’re interested in molding metal to your will as you stand before flames, hammer in hand—you are completely capable of doing so.
