@hypebeastmusic: Kanye West took to Twitter to inform about his ongoing battle against Universal Music and Sony. The rapper announced he will return his share of G.O.O.D. Music artists’ masters. In his tweet, West suggested that he owns 50 percent of recordings, but it is unclear how the remaining half is divided. If he makes good on his announcement former G.O.O.D. artists like John Legend, Common, Kid Cudi, Consequence and Mos Def would regain a portion of the music they have released under the label. Kanye could also be forfeiting a sizeable sum of money generated by currently signed artists Big Sean, Pusha-T, Teyana Taylor, Valee, Francis and the Lights and more.⁠
