Whilst it sounds idyllic, the realities of commercialising whilst already sacrificing so many hours of our lives to labour quickly can become a huge source of burnout. ⁣ ⁣ I sew and paint because I love to do it for pure pleasure and passion, and to decompress from my actual job. Although I have made sewing a business in itself in the past, and I’m not adverse to maybe selling again in the future one day, for now I just want to sew as a hobby! Otherwise I’d have to find a new hobby on top of the extra work 😂⁣ ⁣ I hope this doesn’t get taken the wrong way, I realise it’s a privilege to even have this conversation, but it’s something I’m really passionate about. My ideal world is one with UBI, flexible working hours, and fair compensation for all workers with a better balance. I know we are a long way off but here’s to dreaming. 🤞」9月23日 21時30分
