The plan was to meet for an easy dinner in Mitte, you know, casual and affordable, but still nice to sit and stay a bit longer. I could not come up with one place so I asked Twitter, and there were a couple of recommendations, but not many, and none spoke to me, so what did we do? Go to @malakeh.restaurant, the Syrian restaurant in Schöneberg and it was a really good decision. This is their Harra' Esbao'o, a lentil and noodle stew covered in fried onions and bread, pommegranate seeds and coriander.
