#MyFirstTime was when I was 20… I remember the excitement of finally getting to VOTE.

I walked to the polling place with my dad and could tell how thrilled he was to be there with me, voting for the first Black president. My parents were always adamant about voting, so when I finally could, it meant so much to me that it was for a candidate I loved and against Prop H8te.
