#GagosianSpotlight: Gagosian is pleased to present five recent works on paper by Ed Ruscha, now online for forty-eight hours only.

Throughout decades of formal experimentation, Ruscha has explored language in painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, and bookmaking through a singular, sometimes oblique use of words. In these five new works on paper featured in Ruscha’s Artist Spotlight presentation, blurred phrases appear on softly layered pigment grounds, evoking rapid movement and the disorienting experience of encountering words as we swipe and scroll across digital screens.
