A few years ago, I realized that this door was just around the corner from my place. This location was used as the office of Lacuna Inc in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” where they can erase your selective memories for you. This was when I would had used the service if it were real, but thankfully now I am glad that it is not (yet) real and happy to embrace all my memories equally, happy or sad.

数年前、このドアが近所にあるのに気付いたのですが、ここは映画「エターナル・サンシャイン」にて記憶除去をしてくれるラクーナ社のロケーションとして使われた場所です。この事に気付いた頃、大きな別れがあり正に記憶除去が現実の世界であったなら利用していたのではないかと言う時期だったのですが、今のとなっては楽しい記憶も哀しい記憶も等しく受け止めようと思えるので、現実には(今のところ)実用化されていなくて幸運だったかもしれません。
