For over six decades, the late photographer Terry O’Neill (@terryoneillofficial) remained one of the most prolific in British history, capturing Brigitte Bardot, David Bowie and more at their most candid. Celebrating his remarkable work, a new retrospective exhibition at @zebraonegallery will reveal 13 unseen images from his archive of 2 million negatives.
“Terry was lifelong friends with these people, shooting them for their entire lives, so he got extraordinary access and truly knew them,” shares curator Gabrielle Du Plooy. “He was able to capture them in the way that only somebody who knew them intimately could.”
’Terry O’Neill: The Vintage Collection’ will run from 15th-29th September at @zebraonegallery. Read the full interview with the curator online now.
