I’ve spent the last 33 years of my life on tour for at least 6-7 months of the year and was expecting to do the same before Covid hit. Our last shows of the summer this year were supposed to be this last weekend at Foxboro Stadium. Obviously that didn’t happen! Instead @saraagahfranti and I were leading a yoga retreat the first week of March and when touring got delayed/postponed we decided to stay in Bali for a little while longer...then all the flights going in and out of Bali got canceled when the airport shut down and so we’ve been here ever since. As bummed out and wtf as I’ve felt about the state of the world and not being able to tour, I’ve also been incredibly grateful for all the growth that’s happened in my heart and family🙏🏽. What can I say....it’s been a time. While there’s no end in site to the Covid shutdown and getting back on the road again, I am super encouraged by the response we’ve been getting from our live stream concerts (the next live stream is September 19th info in bio link) and how y’all have embraced the new album. We built @soulshinebali as a place to hit the reset button, practice yoga, dance your ass off and grow organic, rice, fruits and vegetables on our farm - I’ve been doing all of the above, but still can’t wait to get back to San Francisco and sharing music and good vibes with y’all again in person.
