As a child, learning how to ride a bike taught me confidence, determination, and independence. It was one of the very first big accomplishments in my life, and I can recall the pride and joy of that moment to this day. As a teenager, riding a bike also became a transportation tool as I used it for commuting to and back from school. Nowadays, I realize that the relationship I’ve built with riding a bicycle has been grounded within my best childhood memories, and teenage years. I can now see that the value of learning how to ride a bike goes beyond the action itself, especially in today’s world where bikes have to compete against so many technological distractions kids have around them. @AllKidsBike has the mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in Kindergarten PE class. Together with @striderbikes they provide bikes, helmets, and curriculum to organizations and schools that wish to teach children to ride.
