The sun sets on the top of La Palma, Canary Islands, home to one of the world's largest telescopes (GTC) captured by @babaktafreshi. Some of the world’s major observatories are located within nature reserves, which better secures protection of the dark sky above them. The 10-meter Gran Telescopio Canarias in Roque de los Muchachos Observatory at 2400 meters high.
