This year, the #USOpen will be held without spectators for the first time.
Since 2005, @Polo Ralph Lauren has been the Official Outfitter of the @USOpen. This year, we are proud to salute a new generation of heroes — New York City’s frontline workers. Their heroic efforts deserve commemoration and respect, and are one of the reasons that the US Open will once again resume a triumphant return.
Initially, #PoloRalphLauren designed a colorful uniform for this year's #USOpen. However, in light of recent events, the design was changed to reflect the changing sentiment of New York City.
To pay tribute, Polo Ralph Lauren has transformed the ballperson uniform into a symbol of support and gratitude, emblazoning each with one of the names of 150 frontline heroes from @MountSinaiNYC.
