Yesterday our walk to the Fairy Pools was beautiful but it also became quite claustrophobic because these tiny creatures bite you and get in your ears and mouth and under your clothes - I put on some bog myrtle (apparently a natural midge repellent) all over me as you can see on my sweater. When I saw these nets in the stores all around the region I was kind of making fun of them. Now I understand! .
