In collaboration with the Goldsmith’s Company Charity (@thegoldsmithscompany )and with donations from a community of jewellery brands including Alex Monroe, Kassandra was able to raise an incredible total of £25,000 - granting £1,000 to 21 Black jewellers and funding a research project and survey to better understand the experiences of Black British jewellers.🔨💪 The 21 grants were awarded following a review by a panel of five independent industry judges including Alex Monroe. 🐝 Speaking on behalf of the judging panel Alex said, “It was strikingly clear to all of us [the judges] from the applications, that Black jewellers in Britain face a unique set of challenges and that the Coronavirus crisis has caused exceptional hardship.
