I don’t have kids yet(but not giving up) I gained 20 covid comfort food pounds, our office is still closed and we are still adapting to working from home, BUT I am so incredibly grateful for it all . I am grateful for the lessons I have learned during these past few months. I am grateful for the strength of my family, friends and community around me. And I am thankful for this big beautiful life filled with hardships and triumphs. A few weeks ago my big sister(business partner and friend) invited me on her family trip to Alaska where I hiked a glacier at the Don Sheldon ampitheater at the base of Mt Denali. This moment weighed so strongly on my heart. It made me feel so small against these massive mountains and not in control against unpredictable mother nature. But I never felt more free. So 43 is about embracing the unknown, about not always needing to be in control and to appreciate it all the good the bad and the ugly.
