I took my first portrait for the latest @Vanity Fair and was in shock & awe when I saw the striking cover of Breonna Taylor 😭💙

This cover is a painting by Amy Sherald @asherald who also painted @ミシェル・オバマ for the National Portrait Gallery. The issue is edited by @tanehisipcoates and has a slew of amazing contributors.

I took a portrait of Damon Williams @damon_af. Damon Williams is an organizer, social activist and movement builder and founding participant, of the #letusbreathecollective Collective. Going to post images and talk more about Damon later on, but let this cover soak in this morning.
I’ve seen quite a bit of tributes to Breonna, but this one elevates her and the movement beyond the everyday meme of “Arrest the cops..”
