PORTER × Steiff Teddy Bear を発売します。
吉田カバン創業85周年を記念し、世界最古のぬいぐるみメーカーSteiff（シュタイフ）に製作を依頼したPORTER × Steiff Teddy Bearを発売します。
Steiffは1880年ドイツで創業。世界で初めてぬいぐるみを作り、テディベアを誕生させました。妥協のないものづくりの精神は今も受け継がれ、親から子へ、子から孫へと、時代を超えて世界中の様々な人々から愛され続けています。
日本限定で製作されたテディベアが、PORTERブランドの由来でもある“ポーター”※1 に扮したスペシャルなモデルです。付属する木製のカバンは日本が誇る老舗家具メーカー、カリモクに製作を依頼しました。
※1 ホテルなどでお客様のカバンを預かる職業。常にカバンに触れ、カバンの良さを知る者であるということから、PORTERのブランド名の由来となっています。
発売日：8月28日（金）
このアイテムは、PORTER flagship store、PORTER EXCHANGE、PORTER STAND、KURA CHIKA by PORTER、POTR、PORTER KOREA、オフィシャルオンラインストアのみの限定発売です。

We are launching PORTER × Steiff Teddy Bear.
To celebrate our 85th anniversary, we are launching PORTER × Steiff Teddy Bear, which we asked Steiff to produce, which is the world’s oldest toy manufacture.
Steiff started in Germany in 1880. They produced a stuffed toy for the first time in the world and born a teddy bear. Their craftsmanship is inherited by the future generations, parents, children, and grandchildren. It has been loved by all generations all over the world.
This is the exclusive teddy bear made for Japan which wears like a “porter” that is related to PORTER brand. Attached wooden bag figure is made by KARIMOKU, a traditional furniture brand in Japan.
※1 An occupation that checks customer’s bags at a hotel or some other places. The brand name “PORTER” is named after that job which needs experience and knowledge of bags.
