Garrison (Marilyn Silverstone’s nephew)⁠ .⁠ In a new Magnum Flow entry, Garrison recalls Marilyn's trips to India and her connection to the country:⁠ ⁠ "Marilyn was very close to the Chogyal (King) of the Himalayan kingdom of Sikkim and his wife, having previously photographed their wedding and coronation in 1964. Seven years later, she travelled with the royal family on a tour of Sikkim’s northern reaches. On this trip, she brought with her a collection of slides from a previous visit, and shared them with a group of villagers, most of whom had never seen themselves captured in this way."⁠ .⁠ Read more about this story on Magnum Flow.
