The New York-based photographer @xdonavon looks back over his experience of lockdown as “an opportunity to engage more with the tradition of photography, and Black photography specifically.” Commenting on his pastoral series for #LOVEDiaries, life before the virus meant that “there was always something to do, [so] you don't really have too much time to just sit and just look over what's happened before,” he tells @pam_boy, “you always want to do the next thing, or what's in the present. So I've just been going over and looking at my work as something that's not divorced from the tradition of Black photography as a whole."
