I first applied to Kode with Klossy because I wanted to understand what has become fundamental in the modern world: code. There are infinite ways to build anything you can dream up and to solve almost any problem you can think of.  Being part of this community has not only given me coding superpowers, but also confidence to tackle any problem I face, coding-related or not. Meet @ana_sofia_gonza: Hello! I’m Ana Sofia Gonzalez, a Computer Science major at the University of Notre Dame! In the most sincere way, attending Kode With Klossy changed my life. Not only did attending the program encourage me to pursue a degree in Computer Science, but it also introduced me to some of the strongest, kindest, and most intelligent group of young women I have ever met. We met at camp in 2019, and the stars aligned when we learned that we both LOVE to run. We believe that everyone deserves to run without fear, so for our final project we created Running Routes, a website with the goal of generating safe running paths. With our coding superpowers we are turning that project into @zonloopt Running Routes: a mobile app that generates safe running routes based on location input and desired distance. Our mission is to empower you so that running can still be a fun and joyful experience. The tech industry can be daunting, but we promise it’s not as scary as it might seem! We were both new to coding and honestly, really nervous, going into camp last year. However, Kode With Klossy not only opened up the infinite possibilities of code, but it also gave us the skills and support we needed to continue building our vision. Being a woman in STEAM can be a bit overwhelming, but that is also what makes it so exciting! Learning to code can be really challenging /* trust us, we have had our fair share of coding fails*/. There have been many times where it seems we were at a dead end, but we never let that discourage us.  Where there’s a will, there’s a way! There is no greater feeling than sitting back and seeing all your hours of hard work pay off!」8月13日 3時59分 - karliekloss
