Sadly, as we were told by a friend, his laid back attitude will cost him not only his food, but also eventually his life as he won’t survive without food. My heart sank when he told us and I couldn’t stop thinking about how cruel nature can be. As I eat meat, I’ve been trying to force myself to understand it more and try to detach my emotions from the “cycle of life” or the “food chain” or whatever you want to call it.
