Anybody who follows me knows I am annoyingly passionate about podcasts and audio and am literally addicted to the mic. But as much as I love it, podcasting (like pretty much every other branch of media) is riddled with systemic barriers and biases which can prevent Black creators from achieving success. @blkpodcollective provides educational resources, avenues to increase visibility for work by Black creators, and a digital community for creators and listeners! I'd be beyond honored if you would join me in supporting the Collective, either financially or by spreading the word or by engaging with any of the great work they're generating. They have a kickass podcast (Season 2 is launching on September 9) geared towards helping creators launch and sustain their audio projects.
