I have discovered that I make a lot of my own road blocks in my mind, of why I can’t do a thing, or why I don’t deserve to be happy. I’ve chosen to stop feeding those thoughts, and let joy and innocence prevail. I do that by getting present and reminding myself all the things I’m grateful for. Yeah, I might do a little talking in the mirror to myself. But I'm becoming my own cheerleader. And that’s kinda cool.
