Nikon Ambassador – I’m really proud and honoured today to announce that I am one of Nikon’s new Northern European Ambassadors. Having photographed on Nikon cameras and lenses throughout the entirety of my 20+ year career it is a massive honour to become part of the Ambassador program for this World leading, globally significant brand. Over the coming weeks and months I’ll be representing Nikon at various virtual events including the Bird Fair and The Photography Show as well as a number of other virtual speaking engagements. I will of course keep you all posted on these in the days and weeks leading up to them. I always believe that it’s massively important to acknowledge and to publicly thank those who have been instrumental in helping us in our careers and so, with regard especially to this Nikon Ambassadorial role I want to thank in particular my great friend @mark_cale. Mark has fought my corner and given me incredible support over the years that I’ve known him and I will always be eternally grateful to him for this. So today, to mark this announcement, I want to show you all a particularly random selection of important images that individually represent something unique about my career to date. The images start with my first awarded image (fulmar) in Wildlife Photographer of the Year, followed by two gannet images which were the opening double page spreads of my 2012 @ナショナルジオグラフィック feature on these magnificent birds. There is then an abstract image of a mute swan which won the overall title of Bird Photographer of the Year 2016 and I won’t have enough text to detail the significance of the other images. Suffice to say that they’ve all played their part in allowing my images to be seen by a wider and more international audience. I also of course want to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support over the last 4 years, the kindness and encouragement that you have shown to me means the world and I am so, so appreciative of it.
