We had to take a helicopter to get to them and as we were landing a big part of the community had gathered for us to do some portraits. Their looks and beauty were serious. I love how they mix their traditions with modern accessories they find, like the comb here. The way they use their beading and necklaces to identify themselves is magical. These men were the quiet ones. I photographed so many that had bigger accessories, but my eyes went to this group to start with, I saw they had a lot of strength. ⁣⁣ Kenya is an amazing country to come across traditions from communities close to each other but very different. I am longing to go back to carry on meeting their amazing people.⁣⁣ _⁣⁣ Conocer a este grupo de la comunidad Pokot fue tan inspirador. Tuvimos que tomar un helicóptero para llegar hasta ellos y mientras aterrizamos una gran parte de la comunidad se había reunido para que les hiciéramos retratos. Su apariencia y belleza eran increíbles. Me encanta cómo mezclan sus tradiciones con accesorios modernos que encuentran, como el peine que se ve en esta fotografía. La forma en la que usan sus cuentas y collares para identificarse es mágica. Estos hombres eran los más sutiles. Fotografié a tantos que tenían accesorios más grandes, pero mis ojos se dirigieron a este grupo para empezar, me di cuenta de que tenían una fuerza especial. Kenia es un país asombroso donde comunidades cercanas pueden tener tradiciones muy diferentes.
