目黒ケイさんのインスタグラム写真 - (目黒ケイInstagram)「“With everything going on…” For the past couple of days I’ve been trying out the new #IllustratorOniPad (Beta) with @adobedesigners and virtually participated in workshops and keynotes with some amazing creatives. We were broken up into smaller groups to talk about what we could do to “use our voice” - how we could communicate through our creativity. We found it ironic that every email we send/receive nowadays typically starts with “With everything going on…” - or something similar. While discussing, it made me realize how unconsciously we’ve become so used to “everything”. Whatever “everythings” we have, I feel like we have slightly numbed ourselves and need to look harder. Here are some sketches, a robotic girl wearing NYE sunnies, still blinded by the ideals of 2020 - and not really LOOKING at the reality of 2020. The pattern was created with simple Kanji characters 二十二十 meaning 2020 using the Radial repeat tool (It was so fun playing around and falling upon happy accidents... I’m hooked again).
