Yoga for my Ancestors 🙏

August 6, 2020 marks the 75th Memorial of the 1st Atomic Bomb dropping on Hiroshima with a 2nd Atomic Bomb dropping on Nagasaki 3 days later. Being both Japanese & American, this day is a loud resonance in my blood, bones, & cells. I can feel the impact of what War, Hate, & Fear really means for both sides. Through this experience I am truly able to LEARN what PEACE, LOVE, & COMPASSION FOR ONE ANOTHER REALLY MEANS.

I have been consciously working at peeling the layers of all of the different projections I have allowed onto my body. One of the biggest being WAR. I offer the lessons learned here to everyone.

Finding peace within my self has truly been the most beautiful gift of the combining of these two families across the Pacific. I offer this yoga as a prayer to my Ancestors on both sides. I offer this to my friends & family who have & are experiencing suffering. I offer this to all who have passed on to the next realm.

I feel you. I love you.

Thank you for being a gift to this world. Thank you for your life. Thank you for your beauty.

It’s not easy to be the container for so much. I take it as my honor & privilege to be here now, in this body of two worlds, two languages, two cultures, two hearts. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to rise from the ashes & become the being I have always wanted to be.

For me, going to visit Hiroshima was a life-changing experience. The energy there is beyond belief. If you have the opportunity to go, I recommend it.

日本愛してる。

🙏 Blessings to All 🙏

@bbcnews On 6 August 1945 AT LEAST 70,000 people were killed immediately in the massive blast which flattened the city. Tens of thousands more died of injuries caused by radiation poisoning in the following days, weeks and months. The bomb was the first time a nuclear weapon was used during a war. Today, in a solemn ceremony at Peace Park, Hiroshima has remembered those who died. "On August 6, 1945, a single atomic bomb destroyed our city. Rumour at the time had it that 'nothing will grow here for 75 years,'" Mayor Kazumi Matsui said. "And yet, Hiroshima recovered, becoming a symbol of peace.”
