This is my painting "Whereabouts of God" #38 which is a new addition to my series I’ve been painting since 2011. It's originally inspired by the nuclear power plant accident that happened after the earthquake in Japan. Even though Beirut's accident was not nuclear, I am reminded about this tragedy. The peaceful every day collapsed in an instant. Immediately, I felt the need to bring to mind serious issues that I was not previously aware of or could not see. I choose to express this with positive visuals.
