Although it’s beautiful to see, I do believe it’s very whitewashed and we need more Aboriginal and Indigenous presence worldwide. I am very conscious about using my voice when it’s my place and stepping down when it’s not. Within this space I truly believe I was born and am continuing to be led by my ancestors. I am here to reclaim a space and carry on the traditions that my ancestors have carried, celebrated and live by for over 60,000 years. How can you help with decolonising this space ? - Support Aboriginal businesses and persons practicing within the space. - Educate yourself on where your practices originate from and respect it - Follow protocol and seeking permissions from local Traditional Owners and elders - Respecting the country your working / practicing on.
