この前の誕生日に、妻からアメリカのスクラッチ地図を貰いました。
今までに滞在したことのある州を削りました。
(車で通っただけや、飛行機の乗り継ぎなどはカウントしてません。削った州は、泊まったことがある州のみです)

今までに結構色んな州に行ったなぁと思い数えてみると21州でした。
アメリカは50州なので、まだ半分も行ってない...。
アメリカ広すぎ。恐るべし。

カリフォルニア州が日本の面積よりも広く、テキサス州は日本の約2倍の広さだと、どこかの本で読んだことが。
50州制覇は、いつになることでしょう..。

I got this US scratch map for my birthday from my wife.
I scratched off the states where I’ve stayed before (just going through a state by car or layovers at airports don’t count).
I thought I went to a lot more states but it turned out to be 21 states.
I haven’t even been to half of the states yet...
I’ve read a book that it says California is bigger than Japan and Texas is about 2 times bigger than Japan.
The United States is too big!
I wonder when I will be able to scratch off all of the states on this map?
