Our brains have a negativity bias —> it’s a survival trigger that warns us against bad experiences in order to survive.😧 This comes from ancient days where humans needed to remember which berries were poisonous, or where the lion lived, in order to not die, as opposed to remembering positive experiences that aren’t necessary to survival. This is why we can remember a rude phrase that was said to us years ago and hold a grudge, but tend to forget a dozen complements + good things that we experience! #happymindset #positiveenergy
