This system ensures that traditional ways of life can be sustained economically. Greenland uses Indigenous principles of conservation, resulting in an astounding level of biodiversity. That conservation success exceeds that of even government-protected areas, most of which have had the people living there forcibly removed. From an Indigenous viewpoint, there is no separation between humans and the natural world.
