July 31 is World Ranger Day - but every hour of every day, trackers and rangers are on the frontline, dedicated to protecting wildlife in the most difficult circumstances and at the most difficult of times. Funding patrols, rations and salaries for these men and women is a challenge, especially in this current economic climate.
