Men, women, and children. Trafficking earns globally around $150 billion a year for traffickers. More than half of it comes from commercial sex exploitation. About 50,000 people are trafficked into the United States each year, mostly from the Philippines and Mexico. In 2018, over half of the criminal human trafficking cases were sex trafficking cases involving children in the United States.
