20年前、肩がマッチョ過ぎて
恥ずかしくてタンクトップを街中で着れなかった…

ジムに行くと、インストラクターと間違われて話しかけられることもしばしば。

今思えば、若いんだし気にしなきゃいいのにーって思うけど
当時の私は気が付けなかったなぁ。

人間って人それぞれ、コンプレックスってあるものだよね。

でもね、歳を重ねてわかったのは皆それぞれ違って素敵なんだよ。
こうじゃなきゃいけない！って自分で勝手に思い込んで、勝手に苦しくなったりしてるだけ。
自分らしく生き生きと、自信を持ってる方が、何倍も魅力的に見えるんだ。
だから今日も、笑顔でいよう。

I would always bee too embarrassed to wear a tank top
I couldn't wear it when I was walking down the street

When I went to the gym, people would always mistake me for an instructor and talk to me.

Looking back, I was young, and I really wasn't anything that should have bothered me, but I didn't realize it at the time.

We all have our own complexes, right?

But what I've learned as I've gotten older is that everyone is different and wonderful.
If I think that life has to be lived a certain way, then I would only end up making myself suffer.
It's so much better just to be yourself and have the confidence to live life on your own terms.
So today, let's keep smiling.
