Forming good habits for yourself and for your family is so important. That's why most weeks, I make an almond-based trail mix with my littles. The mix provides us with ideal amounts of protein and fiber to feel our best and conquer our day, every day 💪
Beginning the week by prepping healthy snacks with my fam is one of my favorite things to do! Bonding over good-for-you snacks like #almond trail mix is always fun.
We feel energized, satiated and fueled for whatever comes next and can own the day the best way we know how

Kerri’s Winning Trail Mix
Ingredients: almonds, tart cherries, dark chocolate or carob chips, dried apple

Makes 3 1/4 cups (13 servings)

2 cup all-natural almonds
1/2 cup tart dried cherries, pitted
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or carob chips
1/2 cup dried apple pieces

Combine ingredients in a large-sized bowl and gently toss! Keeps well in an airtight container or bag.
