On a snowy February 12, 1947, Christian Dior wowed an unsuspecting world with a collection that would instantly become known as the New Look. On show at the #DiorDesignerofDreams exhibition, the legendary 'Bar' suit – so-named because it was the ideal look to wear for a chic late-afternoon drink – came to epitomize not only the New Look, but also the House itself, and has been endlessly reinvented ever since.
