Do you realize that almost nothing has changed in Humanity since Jesus said these words?
If Jesus happened to be back on this Planet, I guarantee you that he would be crucified again. I don’t mean by The Jews, they just happened to be around Jesus that time, but now that things are global, he would be crucified by everybody. Well, by almost everybody. Some very few Humans would be able to see what he represents, but the rest, would again nail him to the cross. Every single person that has spoken the Truth has been vilified in these last 2,000 years without exception. There’s not one Human that has been able to speak the Truth and not be attacked by the masses. Why? Because the masses do not want to wake up at all. They have invested all their lives being asleep so they rather cling to their misery than realize their true richness. The mob is now way more dangerous than before because it is easily manipulated by the TV and social media. Remember Zoolander? It only takes one idiot to start a massive fire that will consume everything and everyone. It only takes one idiot and the whole hell is unleashed. But also, it takes only one person that has realized that he or she is The Absolute Truth to extinguish hell completely. Hell is a state of being, the same as The Kingdom Of Heaven. It is all inside of us and around of us. Whatever is inside of us reflects outside of us. I wonder when will people understand that LITERALLY they are the whole Universe? If you are Honest with yourselves, even for a moment, you’ll realize that if Jesus happened to be back he would be treated exactly the same as before. And remember, everyday people, like you and me, brainwashed by some of their leaders, turned against Jesus and have done it every single time when Truth shows itself. And just like Moses and his law came before Jesus, Love can not exist without respect for the law. This has always been the way. Who has the opportunity to reflect on his/her deepest corners of its being when one has to watch out in order not to get killed, robbed, raped, etc. A Flower only blooms when all the correct circumstances are present...
